Founded in 1929, Uesaka is internationally renowned for its top quality exercise equipment. The company is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, and remains a family run business with 3 generations of Master craftsmen, designers, and machinists.

Following the 1996 Olympic Games, Uesaka Barbell Company expanded its operations to the United States.
